The Venetian lagoon, a UNESCO world heritage site, is a great place to spend a day watching wild birds in their natural environment. There are many species that can be observed in every season of the year, such as the little egret, the common shelduck, the grey heron, the mallard and, for some years, it has also been possible to see pink flamingos.
